Business Development Manager:

  • Work with the General Manager to increase our solution-based sales levels into both the USA and the Canadian Regions. 
  • Identify and prospect for new customers within said sales regions utilizing a modern data mining approach to qualify leads. 
  • Consult with prospects to understand their unique business challenges and requirements. 
  • Build relationships and secure contracts with new suppliers and customers, contributing to our sustained growth. Take ownership of the entire sales cycle, from initial engagement to closing deals that drive success.
  • Utilize our current Thomas.net availability for promotion and lead generation across all product lines. 
  • Develop new products and mills (with the General Manager)
  • Obtain full understanding of the organization including costs and pricing to support the General Manager in his absence.
  • Assist in managing and providing leadership to the team operational and sales team members to perform effectively and efficiently. 
  • Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity in all sales activities.
  • Travel to the USA and Canada West as required.
